developed business applications to exchange information regardless of computer platform,
operating system, communications transport technology or application architecture, for
instance exchange information between existing systems and newly purchased third-party
applications, or designed in-house solutions.
Application Wrappers
An Application Wrapper is a background program that allows business applications to
interact with another processes running within the environment.
SoftCorporation LLC. works in field of creating inexpensive and customized solutions of
applications integration including customized Interface Engines and customized Application
Wrappers using Windows API technology or (if applicable) ActiveX/COM technology. We
believe that customized solution is most effective and less expensive way for different
platform integration.
Project samples:
1. Customized Interface Engine using Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Controlling program connects to Internet Explorer using ActiveX/COM technology and
automatically redirects IE through web site searching necessary information on the web
page, extracts data and saves in to database with different formats: ASCII, ACCESS, EXCEL,
PARADOX, etc. Similarly technology, but with user participation, we use to compile data
for medical necessity using published on Internet LMRP guidelines.
2. Customized Application Wrapper.
Controlling program connects to the application using Windows API technology and
automatically emulates functions of operator, extracting necessary information from this
application and compiling own database with purpose to pass this information later to
another application.
3. Customized Data Transfer Application.
Controlling program connects to two different applications using Windows API technology
and transfers data from one application to another under operator command. For example:
one application is IBM Mainframe terminal emulator with Hospital information and another -
UNIX terminal emulator connected to MSM system of third vendor. Operator searches
patient's information on IBM Mainframe and with one pressing of hot key passes all
information about chosen patient and all his visits to third vendor system. No need to do
any changes in both applications.
